I offer one-on-one reading tuition, specialising in young students in the primary grades, and gain enormous satisfaction in seeing my students' skills and enjoyment of reading grow, often in leaps and bounds.

Since the pandemic, many children have fallen behind in their reading ability.

I love helping instill the joy of reading into many primary school pupils, and creating lifelong readers who read for pleasure.

I help kids tackle homework or projects, or simply help them gain fluency and the attendant confidence that fluency brings, while at the same time ensuring we have lots of fun!

I have a vast library of classic children's literature and teaching resources in my home, and look forward to meeting you to discuss your child's very specific needs.

Typically I'll see a child for two hours a week after school, or make any arrangement that works for your family's schedule. I prefer to offer one-on-one classes only. I offer discounts to families who are finding the current cost of living crisis particularly difficult.

Please note that I'm a former tutor with the Simcoe County District School Board and with the Oxford Learning Centre, and am the mother of eight adult children, including children with special needs.
